Position Summary: The Project Manager’s primary objective is to achieve project goals and acts as a connection among the various parties involved making the objectives to be specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-sensitive within the context of the project and related responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute detailed construction and set-up drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of exhibit construction methods, including wood and laminate.
  • Extensive knowledge of OCTANORM exhibition systems.
  • Work directly with vendors to meet scheduling needs and ordering of materials.
  • Collaborate with and provide a project schedule to all departments to identify the commencement of their tasks.
  • Determine the requirements of external and internal support to accomplish the project plan.
  • Stay within projects quote from estimating department.
  • Work directly with shop staff to execute project requirements.
  • Track and report project milestones and provide status reports, if necessary.
  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and potential applications.
  • Effectively apply CEP Standard Operations Procedures (SOP’s)to all projects.
  • Knowledge of all show services to detail for final set up drawings.
  • Able to troubleshoot in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Ability to work a flexible and demanding schedule.
  • Some travel (5%).

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience within the tradeshow/exhibit/events industry.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and software packages.
  • Internet, PC proficiency – Microsoft Office/Excel as well as other office-based programs.
  • Experienced professional with a technical background in Auto CAD, 2D and 3D required.
  • PMP certification or similar coursework preferred by not required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines.
  • Must be detail oriented and adhere to strict deadlines while keeping projects within budget.
  • Thorough understanding of all phases of exhibit fabrication techniques and materials.

We are looking for a Warehouse&Inventory Control Coordinator (Portable Exhibits) to join our growing team at our Bolingbrook, ILlocation.

Position Summary:  The Warehouse&Inventory Control Coordinator (Portable Exhibits) will report directly to the warehouse manager and assist with duties such as pulling client inventory from storage, preparing it for shipment and returning materialsto storage upon show completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in client meetings with Account Executive & Account Manager as required.
  • Receives electronic information pertaining to properties in inventory for shipment.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly inventory of products and exhibit components.
  • Works closely and in conjunction with other warehouse team members.
  • Maintains orderly and complete job files.
  • Inspections and preparation of property requested for shipping.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Requires high school diploma, or G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent combination of experience and education; 3-5 years of warehouse/inventory experience.
  • Ability to read and understand the English language to compare and read product descriptions, names and shelf labels.
  • Valid certifications are required to operate the forklifts.
  • Basic computer knowledge required.
  • Must be a team player and demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills.

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our growing team at both our Las Vegas, NV and Chicago, IL locations.

Position Summary: The Account Manager works closely with Account Executives to manage all client projects. Upon receipt of a signed contract or verbal T&M agreement, it is the Account Manager’s responsibility to assure a successful outcome, following the project through the entire process. This includes timely delivery of a quality product, while keeping careful watch over profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in client meetings with Account Executive, as necessary
  • Directly interface with clients in the absence of the Account Executive, or as may be required for the efficient management of the account
  • Serves as a working manager, as well as maintaining new and existing accounts
  • Oversee over all Put-to-Detail, Put-to-Work, and Post-Show Evaluation meetings
  • Compose all Work Orders and Change Orders
  • Coordinate the timely delivery of engineering drawings to be released to the shop
  • Monitor each job for profitability. Notify leadership of problems that may adversely affect profitability
  • Ensure quality control of fabricated properties
  • Maintain orderly and complete project files
  • Preparation of all Show Service forms, on behalf of the client
  • Order and supervise the timely completion of all on-site services, including Installation and dismantling labor, as well as any other service being provided to the client
  • Keep accurate records of labor and materials charged on behalf of clients
  • Close out all jobs upon completion, noting overtime, materials usage, and any extra- charge items
  • Prepare jobs for billing, providing complete information for each line-of-business
  • Maintain accurate and complete Storage and Warehousing inventories, for each client
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, 3-5 years’ experience (Some college preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of exhibit construction technologies and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret design and engineering drawings
  • Experience with on-site Installation and Dismantling
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking skills
  • High attention to details
